India makes significant progress in traffic control and road safety! The first AI-powered Advanced Traffic Management System (ATMS) in the nation is currently installed on the Dwarka Expressway and a portion of NH-8 in Gurgaon.
The 56.46 km section, which was created by IHMCL and executed by NHAI in accordance with its 2023 specifications, has video incident detection systems, traffic monitoring cameras, and complete interaction with the NIC E-Challan site.
The technology recognizes 14 different kinds of infractions in real time, ranging from triple riding to speeding and not wearing a seatbelt. Greetings from India’s future of automated enforcement, safer roadways, and smart highways!
