Samsung is all set to launch the Galaxy M36 5G in India on June 27. As the successor to the Galaxy M35 5G, this new smartphone is expected to come with several improvements in design, performance, and features. With just a few days left before the official reveal, here’s a quick look at what to expect from the upcoming device.
Expected Price and Availability
Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy M36 5G will be priced under ₹20,000 in India. The smartphone is expected to go on sale via Amazon and Samsung’s official website shortly after the launch. A dedicated launch microsite is already live on the e-commerce platform.
Design and Colours
The Galaxy M36 5G will feature a sleek design with a thickness of just 7.7mm and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. It will be available in three stylish colours — Orange Haze, Serene Green and Velvet Black. The phone will have a flat display and back, with a vertically aligned pill-shaped triple camera module and LED flash.
Display
The device is expected to feature a 6.7-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. A hole-punch cutout at the top will house the selfie camera.
Performance and Software
The Galaxy M36 5G is likely to be powered by Samsung’s Exynos 1380 chipset, paired with at least 6GB of RAM and a Mali G68 GPU. It is expected to run on One UI 7 based on Android 15. Samsung has also teased support for AI-powered features including the Galaxy AI suite and Google’s Circle to Search.
Camera
On the camera front, the phone is confirmed to include a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP main sensor that supports optical image stabilisation. A 12MP front camera is expected for selfies and video calls. Both front and rear cameras will support 4K video recording.
Battery and Charging
The Galaxy M36 5G is rumoured to pack a 5,000mAh battery with support for 45W wired fast charging, making it suitable for heavy use throughout the day.
