Several teams from the Gurugram Police’s Cyber Crime Police Station took the suspects into custody.

The police claim that after analyzing the information from the Indian Cyber Crime Coordinate Center (I4C) on the 17 cell phones and 7 SIM cards they retrieved from the accused, they discovered that the accused had committed approximately Rs 66.62 crore in fraud, and that 15,265 complaints had been filed against them nationwide.

488 instances were reported in India in this respect. Thirty-six of these instances, including ten in Gurugram, were recorded in Haryana.

Regularly, additional action is taken based on the data gathered by looking at the equipment that the police have confiscated from the detained cybercriminals.

According to Diwan, the cybercrime units of the Gurugram Police are always taking the appropriate measures to combat cybercriminals.

He said that in order to combat these scams, the Gurugram police are collaborating closely with various organizations and institutions.
