Wishing Mr. Sik Kwang Then greater responsibilities and exciting challenges in this impressive new chapter!
The Access Group has officially named Sik Kwang Then — also known as SK or Kwang — as the new Employee Success Director for its Kuala Lumpur Global Operations Centre, effective June 9, 2025. His appointment marks a significant move as the company continues to expand its presence and strengthen its workforce in the APAC region.
In his new role, Kwang will lead the Employee Success (ES) function at the KL Global Operations Centre, collaborating closely with the global ES team and the KL leadership to align people strategies with the company’s bold growth plans. His mission is to enhance Access’s performance, culture, and development by building robust people practices and frameworks.
With an impressive track record in the IT and HR space across Asia and Europe, SK brings a wealth of experience to the table. Previously, he served as Head of HR at DHL Group IT Services in Malaysia, overseeing a workforce of 1800 employees. In his role as Global HR Business Partner for Express, he supported 1500 staff globally and played a key part in scaling operations in India — growing teams from fewer than 100 to over 1200 across five cities.
Over a distinguished 13-year tenure with DHL, Kwang held several progressive positions including Head of HR at DHL ITS Cyberjaya, Global HRBP for Solution Delivery, Team Manager for Customer Service, Solution Manager, and IT Solution Consultant. His career began with Danzas Asia Pacific Management and IBM, where he successfully led the Southeast Asia rollout of the ADIDAS project.
He will be based in Kuala Lumpur and will join Caroline Fanning’s Global ES Senior Leadership Team, Chee Gay Lim’s KL GOC Senior Leadership Team, and the APAC ES Leadership Team, contributing to strategic decision-making at every level.
Outside of work, Kwang is a passionate badminton player, a football enthusiast, and an active mentor to young professionals in his community — embodying the values of leadership both in and beyond the workplace.
