Google has begun to introduce interactive chart visualizations in AI Mode within Labs, allowing users to compare stocks or prices over a designated time frame. In a blog post from the company, Google mentioned that their sophisticated AI models can animate financial data by utilizing both historical and real-time information.
“You can ask to ‘compare the stock performance of blue chip CPG companies in 2024.’ Rather than conducting manual research on individual companies and their stock prices, AI Mode handles the work for you, leveraging Gemini’s advanced multi-step reasoning and multimodal capabilities. If you follow up with a question like ‘did any of these companies pay back dividends?’ AI Mode knows what to look up for you,” the blog stated.
Users need to activate AI Mode in Search Labs to try out this feature.

A report from 9to5Google also indicated that they have restored Lens and voice input to the Search bar on the Discover feed.
Google Labs has announced they are testing a new feature called ‘Portraits,’ which allows users to interact “conversationally with AI representations of trusted experts created in collaboration with the experts themselves.”
The company is openly inviting individuals in the U.S. who wish to partner with them for ‘Portraits.’
