Important step in increasing its presence in India’s quickly developing solar sector has been taken by SolarEdge Technologies, a global pioneer in smart energy solutions, with the announcement of the creation of a state-of-the-art R&D and Technology Center in Bengaluru. The recently opened facility is intended to support cutting-edge research, product development, and technical operations, strengthening SolarEdge’s capacity to satisfy the needs of the growing photovoltaic (PV) industry in India. The building will also house an enlarged staff of support engineers, further cementing the company’s commitment to offering specialized solutions and expertise within India.
Sanjay Puri, Country Manager for SolarEdge India, led the ribbon-cutting ceremony and emphasized the strategic significance of the new center. “India is one of the most exciting and fast-growing solar markets in the world. This new R&D and Technology Center represents our continued investment in both infrastructure and local talent, and will play a pivotal role in supporting the next phase of solar energy growth in the region,” said Puri.
In addition to bolstering SolarEdge’s worldwide innovation initiatives, the new facility will be a vital hub for cooperation with regional distributors, partners, and clients. The center will advance the company’s worldwide product development while concentrating on meeting the unique demands of the Indian market.
SolarEdge has provided a variety of solutions since opening its Indian office in 2017, such as PV inverters, power optimizers, storage systems, and a cloud-based monitoring platform. Applications for these items range from modest utility-scale solar systems to residential and business settings.
With solutions that optimize energy production efficiency and support the continuous shift to sustainable energy, SolarEdge is at the forefront of the smart energy technology sector. Their sophisticated inverter technologies optimize photovoltaic (PV) installations’ power output, lowering energy costs and increasing performance. In order to serve various energy market segments, SolarEdge now provides solutions in energy storage, electric car charging, and grid services.
