The Maharashtra government will send a team to an international cyber security event that starts on Sunday, May 11, as themes including cyber security and cyberattacks take center stage.
Ashish Shelar, the minister of information technology, will head a government delegation to the 2025 Barcelona Cyber Security Congress and the IoT Solution World Congress.
Parrag Jaiin Nainutia, principal secretary (IT), will accompany the group to the event, which will be held in Barcelona, Spain, from May 11 to May 18.
In response to an invitation from Fira Barcelona, the group will help Maharashtra’s technological growth objectives by researching the most recent advancements in cybersecurity and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies.
