Wishing Mr. Yusuf Tayob greater responsibilities and exciting challenges in this impressive new chapter!
Perficient, the leading global digital consultancy transforming the world’s most innovative enterprises and admired brands, today announced the appointment of Yusuf Tayob as Chief Executive Officer, effective May 21, 2025.
“Yusuf brings the expertise, energy, and vision required to guide Perficient through its next chapter of AI‑oriented growth,” the Board of Directors noted. “His proven ability to scale multi‑billion‑dollar businesses, build and nurture high‑performing teams, and create breakthrough ecosystem partnerships makes him the ideal leader to build on more than two decades of Perficient’s success as an industry disruptor.”
Previously, Tayob spent more than 24 years with Accenture. During his tenure, Tayob led hundreds of thousands of employees across the U.S., Europe, India, and Latin America while serving in a variety of global leadership roles, including Chair of the Global Communications, Media & Technology Practice, and Group CEO of Accenture Operations. He also led several industry and geographic consulting businesses and was global head of the Accenture Salesforce Business Group. Tayob was a member of Accenture’s Global Management Committee.
“I’m thrilled to join a company whose history, influence, and impact I’ve long admired,” said Tayob. “For 25 years, Perficient has combined deep industry expertise with a world‑class network of technology partners to deliver transformative digital solutions. The company’s remarkable success has been the result of a disciplined and pragmatic approach to challenging the status quo, with deeply skilled and highly respected practitioners, and an obsessive focus on clients and value creation. Perficient is well positioned to define and capture the disruptive nature of generative AI and the incredible opportunity it presents to help our clients accelerate growth. I am very excited about our future.”
As CEO, Tayob will focus on scaling Perficient’s AI‑native portfolio of digital consulting services, expanding global delivery and talent hubs, deepening strategic alliances across the cloud, data and emerging‑tech ecosystem, and investing in innovative delivery models that elevate client outcomes.
Today, more than 7,000 Perficient colleagues worldwide drive business transformation through strategy, experience, product, platform, data, and AI expertise. In October 2024, Perficient was acquired by EQT, one of the world’s preeminent investment organizations.
“We’re pleased to welcome Yusuf Tayob, an outstanding leader, as Perficient’s new CEO,” said Hari Gopalakrishnan, Partner & Co-Head of Services at EQT and member of the Perficient Board of Directors. “EQT looks forward to working closely with Yusuf, the Board, and Perficient’s leadership team to ensure the company has the backing it needs to deepen its partner ecosystem, expand opportunities for its people, and lead the way in AI-first management consulting and technology services. We’re also grateful to Board member Xiao Guo for his steady and thoughtful leadership as interim CEO throughout this important transition.”
