Sify Infinit Spaces Limited, a data centre provider based in Chennai, officially opened its new data centre campus in Sipcot Siruseri, Chennai, on Thursday. The facility was inaugurated by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin and is touted as the largest artificial intelligence-ready data centre campus in South India.

With a planned capacity of 130 MW, this data centre is unique in India for having an on-site open cable landing station, which enhances global connectivity and network performance. Total investment in the campus will be around 10,000 crore with Sify investing ₹2,500 crore and rest from the partners like hyperscalers, Vegesna told Media.
