In a move set to elevate the guest experience at one of India’s finest luxury destinations, JW Marriott Kolkata is proud to announce the appointment of Zibraan Kazi as its new Director of Operations. With over 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Zibraan brings with him a wealth of expertise and a passion for operational excellence.
Before stepping into this pivotal role, Zibraan has held several esteemed positions at renowned hotels, where he was responsible for enhancing operations and guest satisfaction. His most recent role was at the Renaissance Bengaluru Race Course Hotel, and he has also been part of the teams at St. Regis Mumbai and Grand Mercure Bengaluru Gopalan Mall (Accor Group). Throughout his career, Zibraan has honed his skills in operational strategy, staff training, vendor coordination, and above all, ensuring exceptional guest experiences.
Zibraan’s academic background, which includes a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management from the Dadar Institute of Hotel Management, Mumbai, and an MBA in Sales & Marketing from Sikkim Manipal University, has provided him with the perfect foundation for his career. His areas of expertise span several critical facets of hotel operations, including:
Vendor coordination and cost control
Operational strategy and business management
Guest experience and service enhancement
Team leadership and staff development
As Director of Operations, Zibraan Kazi will be tasked with overseeing the day-to-day operations of JW Marriott Kolkata, ensuring that efficiency and service excellence remain the cornerstones of the hotel’s operation. His leadership is expected to further solidify the property’s reputation as a premier luxury destination in India.
