Akshay Jatia Appointed as CEO of Westlife Foodworld, Succeeding Amit Jatia

In a significant leadership change at Westlife Foodworld, Akshay Jatia has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective March 18, 2025. He takes over from Amit Jatia, who steps down from the role of Key Managerial Personnel (KMP) but will continue to serve as a director on the board. Despite this shift in the leadership position, both Amit and Akshay Jatia will remain directors at Westlife Foodworld.

Akshay Jatia has been with the company for over a decade and previously held the position of executive director (whole-time director). His promotion to CEO marks the next step in his long association with the company, which operates as the master franchisee for McDonald’s in West and South India.

The board of directors of Westlife Foodworld remains unchanged, with Saurabh Kalra continuing to serve as the managing director of Hardcastle Restaurants Private Limited, a subsidiary of Westlife Foodworld.

In a statement, the company emphasized that there will be no alterations in the leadership of Hardcastle Restaurants, ensuring that Saurabh Kalra will remain at the helm of the subsidiary.

This leadership transition aligns with the company’s long-term strategic vision and reflects its continued growth in the fast-food sector.
