Claroty appoints Amir Preminger as CTO

Amir Preminger was appointed chief technology officer (CTO) of Claroty, a cyber-physical systems (CPS) protection business, on Tuesday. As CTO, Preminger will continue to guide Claroty’s research team, Team82, while enhancing his influence by promoting innovation in all of the company’s goods and services and fortifying the connection between technology and corporate expansion.

In order to keep ahead of market demands, he will also make sure that consumer insights inform product development. He will also work to promote a culture of cooperation, information exchange, and experimentation in order to spur innovation.

“At Claroty, innovation and customer experience are at the core of everything we do, and Amir has been a driving force behind both for nearly a decade,” said Yaniv Vardi, CEO at Claroty. “As CTO, his deep technical expertise, strategic mindset, and ability to bridge customer needs with technology will be instrumental in driving our next phase of growth and strengthening our leadership in CPS security.”

A seasoned cybersecurity researcher, Preminger established Claroty’s Team82, leading its creative strategic direction and making it the leading vulnerability and threat research team dedicated just to CPS. Prior to joining Claroty, he worked for over ten years in one of the top technological units of the Israel Defense Force, where he was instrumental in the creation of cutting-edge cyber solutions in a variety of interdisciplinary fields.

“I am honored to take on the role of CTO at Claroty,” said Preminger. “Building and leading Team82 has been an incredible journey, and I look forward to furthering this work through product innovation and strategic growth. I am committed to aligning our technology decisions with business priorities and ensuring our solutions evolve to meet the unique needs of our customers while progressing our mission to secure the cyber-physical systems that underpin our lives.”

Claroty earlier this month announced a collaboration with SealingTech, a division of Parsons Corporation known for providing cutting-edge computer technology and cybersecurity solutions to protect federal government and commercial sector organizations. The partnership gives Cyber Protection Teams (CPTs) the knowledge, resources, and assistance they need to address the particular difficulties of protecting CPS networks and operational technology (OT) even in the most taxing field settings.
