Footprint Names Jim Kimbel as Chief Financial Officer

Footprint, a global materials science technology company with a vision to create a healthy planet for healthy people, announced the appointment of James (Jim) Kimbel as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Kimbel will oversee the company’s financial strategy and information technology operations, reporting directly to Chief Executive Officer, Corey Berends.

With a career spanning high-growth startups, Fortune 100 companies, and mission-driven enterprises, Kimbel brings extensive experience in capital allocation, financial operations, and risk management. He has led financial teams through complex restructuring efforts, closed over $70 billion in M&A and licensing transactions, and spearheaded multi-billion-dollar financial strategies for companies in sustainable consumer goods, investment management, and automotive technology.

Footprint was founded in 2014 by former Intel engineers, including Yoke Chung, Company Chief Technology & Innovation Officer.
