OneTrust has promoted Tim Mullen to Chief Information Officer (CIO), expanding his technology leadership responsibilities after more than 4 years with the company. He previously served as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), leading the organisation’s information security function.
Mullen brings extensive experience in cybersecurity, enterprise technology, risk management and security architecture. His elevation comes after a career spanning senior technology and security leadership roles across healthcare, travel, hospitality, retail and financial services.
Before his promotion, Mullen led information security at OneTrust as SVP and CISO, overseeing cybersecurity-related responsibilities. His experience in the role provided a strong foundation for his expanded position within the company.
Prior to joining OneTrust, he served as Vice President and Deputy Chief Information Security Officer at Change Healthcare. He also spent more than 4 years at Travelport, where he progressed from Senior Director – Cyber Security and Risk to Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer.
Earlier in his career, Mullen led Global Security Architecture, Engineering and Operations at InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG). His previous positions also include Manager – IT Security at The Home Depot, IT Security Architect at Fidelity National Information Services and Senior Network Security Engineer at AT&T.
In his new role as CIO, Mullen brings a broad background in cybersecurity, enterprise infrastructure, technology risk and security operations. His experience across information security and enterprise technology will support his expanded responsibilities in guiding OneTrust’s overall technology agenda.
