Capitolis valuation rises to $1.9 billion after latest funding round

Financial technology company Capitolis has strengthened its funding position with a new $220 million financing round that values the company at $1.9 billion.

The financing includes a $120 million Series E equity round led by existing investor Citi. Bank of America, Nomura and Tradeweb Markets also participated, along with existing investors Barclays, BNP Paribas, JPMorgan, State Street and UBS.

The latest funding marks an increase in Capitolis’ valuation from its previous funding round. In 2022, the company was valued at $1.6 billion during its Series D round.

Founded by CEO Gil Mandelzis, Capitolis develops technology and financial solutions for banks and institutional investors. Its solutions focus on capital and balance sheet management.
