SBI Funds Management strengthens finance leadership with Amol Joshi

Amol Joshi has been appointed Chief Financial Officer at SBI Funds Management Limited, bringing more than two decades of experience across financial management, reporting and controls, business planning, balance sheet management, regulatory reporting, operational risk and finance transformation.

Before joining SBI Funds Management Limited, Joshi served as Chief Financial Officer at TransUnion CIBIL Limited for nearly five years. Prior to that, he was Chief Financial Officer at IndoStar Capital Finance Ltd., where he led the finance function in the financial services sector.

Earlier, Joshi spent three years with L&T Financial Services as Group Head – Finance, supporting businesses across rural, housing and wholesale lending, mutual funds and wealth management.

He also spent more than a decade with Standard Chartered Bank, where he held senior roles including Executive Director & Head – Reporting and Controls, Senior Manager – Balance Sheet Management & Controls, and Regional Business Planning Manager, Office of the Chief Financial Officer, India & South Asia.

Joshi began his earlier career as Manager – Business Planning & Analysis at American Express Bank Ltd. He also had an earlier stint at Standard Chartered Bank as Assistant Manager – Finance.

He started his finance career with i-flex solutions, where he worked across tax compliance, expense management and payment processing.

In his new role at SBI Funds Management Limited, Joshi brings experience across banking, lending, credit information and financial services, with expertise in financial controls, regulatory reporting, planning, risk management and business finance.
