Syrma Johari MedTech Limited, a Syrma SGS Technology company, has inaugurated a new medical plastics and precision moulding facility in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, as the group expands its capabilities in higher-value medical-device manufacturing.
Inaugurated on September 22, the facility spans more than 1.2 lakh sq ft and will support injection moulding, extrusion, blow moulding and tooling. It is designed to produce tight-tolerance and multi-cavity moulded components, medical and diagnostic tubing, customised tubing profiles and other specialised medical applications.
The facility expands Syrma Johari MedTech’s capabilities beyond electronics manufacturing into precision plastics and integrated medical-device production. The company operates as a contract development and manufacturing organisation (CDMO), serving areas including diagnostics, medical aesthetics, patient monitoring, surgical and interventional care, critical care, rehabilitation and physical therapy.
The Jodhpur unit will support product development across design and engineering, tooling, cleanroom operations, manufacturing and assembly. It also adds to the Syrma SGS Group’s network of 17 global production sites and 4 design and innovation centres.

The facility follows the company’s earlier plans to add medical-grade plastics, plastic injection moulding and SMT capacity at Jodhpur. Management had also indicated that the MedTech business could grow about 50% during FY27, while healthcare order-book visibility, including RFID solutions, stood at around Rs 500 crore.
Syrma Johari MedTech recorded income of Rs 208.08 crore and profit after tax of Rs 26.12 crore in FY26.
At the consolidated level, Syrma SGS reported FY26 revenue from operations of Rs 4,819.06 crore, up 27.3% year-on-year, while profit after tax rose 87.5% to Rs 345.81 crore.
As of 2:17 pm on September 22, Syrma SGS Technology shares were trading at Rs 1,765.30, up 3.06% from the previous close.
