Nestlé India has appointed Nitu Bhushan as Head of Human Resources, effective March 2, 2026. She takes on the role with extensive experience across industries, markets and increasingly strategic HR leadership responsibilities.
Nitu’s career has evolved from building a strong HR foundation to leading people agendas across India and Asia Pacific. Her experience spans technology, consumer, financial services, healthcare and FMCG.
In her new role, she will bring her cross-industry experience to help strengthen leadership pipelines, build future-ready capabilities, support a culture where people can perform and grow, and align talent strategies with business growth.
Nitu is an Electronics and Telecom engineer and later completed her postgraduation in Personnel Management from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune.
Her career began with Accenture, where she started her HR journey.
At Asian Paints, she progressed from Corporate HR Manager to Manager HR for the International Business Unit, taking on broader responsibilities across the organisation.
She later joined HSBC, where she led strategic HR and transformation responsibilities across Asia Pacific.
At Mondelēz International, Bhushan expanded her talent leadership experience across India and international markets.
She then served as Regional HR Director for the Established Pharmaceuticals Division in India at Abbott, managing people priorities across the business.
Before joining Nestlé India, Nitu was CHRO for South Asia at Pernod Ricard, where she led initiatives across talent, leadership and culture.
Across these roles, her responsibilities expanded from functional HR work to broader business and people mandates.
Her career also highlights the value of embracing change and continuously expanding one’s capabilities. From engineering to HR, and from functional roles to regional leadership and a CHRO mandate, Bhushan has built her career by taking on wider responsibilities and creating greater organisational impact.
