Vivo X500 Pro Max Geekbench listing reveals 4,137 single-core score

Vivo’s upcoming X500 series is expected to arrive after the launch of OriginOS 7 in China, with the Vivo X500 Pro Max now appearing on a benchmarking platform. The latest listing points to a major performance jump for the Chinese version of the upcoming flagship.

The X500 series has not been officially confirmed, but it is expected to include the Vivo X500, Vivo X500 Pro and Vivo X500 Pro Max. Vivo recently announced the launch date of its Android 17-based OriginOS 7 in China.

An unannounced Vivo smartphone with model number V2602DA has been spotted on Geekbench. While the listing does not name the device, earlier certification listings have linked this model number to the Chinese version of the Vivo X500 Pro Max. The global version is reportedly associated with model number V2610.

The listed handset uses an MT6995(ENG) chipset, believed to be an unreleased MediaTek processor that could launch as the MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro.

The chipset reportedly uses an ARMv8 octa-core setup with 2 cores clocked at 4.55GHz, 3 cores reaching 4.35GHz and 3 cores running at a base frequency of 3.10GHz. This matches earlier leaks suggesting a configuration of 2 “Canyon” cores, 3 “Gelas-B” cores and 3 “Gelas” cores.

The smartphone is listed with around 14.95GB of RAM, which could be marketed as 16GB memory. It runs Android 17 and may use the Mali-G2-Ultra-NX MC12 GPU.

In Geekbench 6.7.1 for Android AArch64 testing, the handset scored 4,137 points in single-core performance and 12,751 points in multi-core performance.

These scores are significantly higher than those recorded by the purported global X500 Pro Max in an earlier Geekbench listing. That model scored 2,653 points in single-core and 7,516 points in multi-core testing.

However, the global model’s 2 prime cores were running at only 2.8GHz during the test. As a result, those earlier benchmark results may not reflect the chipset’s final performance.
