Yotta Data Services has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Minakshi Samant as Chief People Officer, bringing her back to the corporate sector after a year dedicated to building the Dabholkar Foundation, an initiative focused on caring for old, injured and abandoned animals.
Samant shared the appointment on LinkedIn, noting that she is joining Yotta as the company expands across AI, cloud, data centres and digital infrastructure.
Samant brings HR and commercial leadership experience
Samant spent 5 years at Ingram Micro, taking on leadership roles across HR and sales. Her career combines people leadership and commercial experience, with work spanning business, people and commercial transformation.
Her professional background includes HR, sales, leadership development and organisational transformation.
At Yotta, Samant will work with Sunil Gupta and the leadership team to strengthen the people function as the company grows across emerging technology and digital infrastructure.
Building a future-ready people strategy
In her new role, Samant will focus on developing a people function that supports business growth, leadership development and organisational culture.
Her responsibilities will include developing leaders, strengthening the company culture and creating a workforce strategy aligned with Yotta’s expansion across AI, cloud and data centres.
A return to corporate leadership
Samant stepped away from her corporate career last year to establish the Dabholkar Foundation. During this period, she worked with her team to build the foundation’s infrastructure, governance, partnerships and operations.
She said the experience gave her a broader perspective on purpose, leadership and the impact she wanted to create in her next professional chapter.
Her move to Yotta marks her return to corporate leadership, while bringing the experience and perspective gained during her time with the foundation into her new role.
