Zoetis has appointed Jay Saccaro as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer, giving him broad responsibility across the company’s financial operations and global manufacturing and supply functions.
In his expanded role, Saccaro will focus on translating Zoetis’ strategy into execution while supporting the company’s next phase of growth. His responsibilities will bring together financial leadership with operational oversight across the business.
Saccaro brings around 12 years of CFO experience across major healthcare companies. He most recently served as Chief Financial Officer of GE HealthCare from June 2023 to August 2026, where he led financial activities for the global healthcare technology company.
Before GE HealthCare, Saccaro spent 9 years as Chief Financial Officer of Baxter International Inc., from July 2014 to June 2023. He also briefly served as Chief Financial Officer of Hillrom in 2014.
His earlier career at Baxter included leadership roles such as Global Franchise Leader – Specialty Pharmaceuticals and Corporate Vice President and Treasurer. He also held positions covering strategy, finance across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, financial planning and analysis, and strategic planning.
Before his senior healthcare finance roles, Saccaro worked in business development and strategy. He served as Director, Business Development & Strategy at Clear Channel Communications’ Interactive Division and as Manager, Business Development at Bizbuyer.com.
He began his career in Strategic Planning at The Walt Disney Company, where he worked from 1996 to 1999.
Across these roles, Saccaro has built experience in financial leadership, strategic planning, business development, treasury, international finance, operations and healthcare.
At Zoetis, his combined CFO and COO responsibilities will focus on aligning financial priorities with global manufacturing and supply execution, while maintaining investment in innovation and operational discipline as the company advances its growth plans.
