Flipkart has appointed Divya Srivastava as Head of Performance and Rewards, adding an experienced HR leader to its senior people function.
In her new role, Ms Srivastava will lead Flipkart’s Performance and Total Rewards charter, with responsibility for areas that shape how the organisation approaches employee performance, rewards and recognition.
She brings nearly two decades of experience across human resources, with a career spanning technology, healthcare and consumer businesses. Her experience includes specialist rewards responsibilities as well as broader HR leadership roles.
Before joining Flipkart, she was with Unilever, where she served as Head of Reward for India and Asia. Her remit included the company’s total rewards strategy, along with work around its inclusion agenda.
Earlier, Ms Srivastava served as CHRO of GE Healthcare South Asia, following a series of regional and global HR roles at GE. During her career with the company, she worked across areas including rewards, talent, organisation design, HR business partnering and transformation.
From engineering to human resources
Ms Srivastava began her professional journey as a Systems Engineer before moving into human resources. She later completed her postgraduate education at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, where she graduated as a gold medallist.
Her career has since taken her across multiple dimensions of people leadership, combining expertise in rewards with experience of working closely with business and organisational priorities.
At Flipkart, her mandate places performance and rewards at the centre of the employee experience. These functions have increasingly become strategic levers for organisations looking to recognise contribution, strengthen retention and align individual performance with broader business priorities.
For Flipkart, her appointment adds leadership experience to a function that directly influences how performance and contribution are recognised across the organisation. Her background across total rewards and wider HR leadership also brings together specialist expertise and broader organisational perspective.
With Ms Srivastava joining its senior people leadership team, Flipkart gains an HR professional with experience across rewards, talent and enterprise-level people strategy as it continues to build its workforce and organisational capabilities for a fast-evolving digital commerce landscape.
