Anthropic has strengthened its commercial leadership in the EMEA region with the appointment of Shakira Talbot as Head of Strategic Pursuits – EMEA.
Based in Greater London, Talbot brings more than 20 years of experience across enterprise technology sales, strategic accounts, customer operations, revenue growth and sales leadership.
Talbot joins Anthropic after more than 12 years at ServiceNow, where she held several senior commercial leadership positions. Most recently, she served as Group Vice President, CRM – EMEA, with responsibility for sales and customer success across CRM business segments and industry verticals in the region.
Before that, she was Group Vice President, Global Customer & Field Operations, where she focused on building high-performing teams, pipeline generation, sales execution and revenue growth.
Earlier at ServiceNow, Talbot served as AVP – UK&I Commercial, leading multiple sales teams across different industry verticals. She also spent 3 years as Sales Director – Public Sector, working with government organisations and driving new revenue opportunities.
Prior to that, Talbot was a Senior Account Executive at ServiceNow for 5 years, focusing on major government organisations and new business acquisition.
Before joining ServiceNow, she worked as Account Director – Global Strategic Accounts at BMC Software and as an Account Executive at Gartner. Her earlier career included roles at Cititec Associates and SThree, where she developed experience across technology, banking and financial services sales and recruitment.
At Anthropic, Talbot brings extensive experience across enterprise sales, strategic pursuits, customer engagement, commercial leadership and revenue growth. Her appointment adds further depth to the company’s EMEA commercial organisation.
