Swiggy has announced a fresh set of leadership appointments as it strengthens its technology, growth and operations teams across Instamart and its Food Marketplace business.
Nitesh Garg has been appointed Chief Technology Officer, Instamart. Garg has been with Swiggy for more than 7 years and most recently served as Senior Vice President, leading engineering for Instamart and New Initiatives. He has headed engineering for the quick commerce platform since its launch, overseeing its consumer technology stack and supply chain systems.
In his new role, Garg will lead technology, engineering and related technology initiatives for Instamart.
The company has also appointed Himavant Kurnala as Chief Growth and Product Officer, Instamart, and Saurav Goyal as Chief Operating Officer, Food Marketplace.
Kurnala has led Instamart’s product function since 2024 and later took responsibility for growth and brand marketing. In his expanded role, he will oversee Growth, Marketing, Analytics and Product.
Goyal joined Swiggy in 2020 and has held leadership positions across business finance, Instamart, and Driver and Delivery Product and Operations. As COO, Food Marketplace, he will continue overseeing Driver and Delivery while also taking responsibility for Food Customer Experience.

The appointments follow recent leadership changes, including Nandita Sinha as CEO, Instamart, and Gautam Swaroop as Chief Business Officer, Instamart. Swapnil Bajpai was also elevated to CEO of Swiggy’s Dineout and Scenes business earlier this year. Sidharth Bhakoo continues as Chief Business Officer, Swiggy Food Marketplace.
