Odisha is expanding its technology ecosystem with the inauguration of a Japanese SAP Software Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Bhubaneswar. The facility adds momentum to the state’s growing focus on AI, robotics, semiconductors and digital technologies.
The GCC was inaugurated at the NITKAL Enterprise Services campus alongside an AI, Robotics and Japan Centre of Excellence. The centres are expected to support advanced training, research, skill development and employment opportunities while strengthening collaboration between industry and academia.
The initiative is aimed at developing a future-ready technology workforce and connecting Odisha’s talent and industries with global technology networks. It is also expected to encourage industry-focused learning and innovation as the state attracts more technology-driven investments.
