Ahead of its official debut in India, OnePlus has revealed new details about the upcoming N6x. The company has confirmed that the smartphone will feature a 7,000mAh battery, highlighting battery life as one of its biggest selling points before the launch.
According to OnePlus, the N6x will deliver up to 2.5 days of battery life on a single charge. The company claims users can get 20.56 hours of video playback, 133.56 hours of music playback, 25.04 hours of social media scrolling, or 11.26 hours of video recording.
The smartphone is scheduled to launch in India on July 31 at 12 PM IST. It has already confirmed that the device will be available through Amazon and the OnePlus India online store. It will be offered in Burgundy Red and Ice Blue colour options.
OnePlus has also showcased the design of the handset. The OnePlus N6x features a flat rear panel with a textured finish and a pill-shaped rear camera module positioned in the top-left corner alongside an LED flash. The rear panel carries the signature OnePlus branding at the centre. The camera island includes a single camera lens and a secondary cutout, which is expected to house a secondary light sensor. The smartphone will also retain a 3.5mm audio jack on the top.
The promotional images reveal a power button and volume keys on the right side of the device. OnePlus has stated that the smartphone will arrive with “familiar” specifications and features. However, the company has not yet revealed its pricing or complete hardware specifications. More details are expected to be announced in the days leading up to the launch.
