As demand for AI computing continues to rise, Indian cloud provider Utho Cloud has announced plans to deploy 10,000 GPUs over the next 2 years to expand AI infrastructure across the country. The rollout will take place over the next 7 to 8 quarters and is aimed at supporting both AI inference and large-scale model training.
The deployment will include NVIDIA H200, H100, A100, RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell, and L4 GPUs. The company said the infrastructure will be hosted entirely in India, allowing enterprises to access AI computing resources while keeping data and model training within the country.
According to Utho Cloud, the expansion is designed to meet growing demand for AI compute by offering guaranteed GPU availability without extended waiting periods. Customers will be billed in Indian rupees, and the company said its pricing will be up to 60% lower than that of traditional hyperscale cloud providers.
“With this expansion, we will offer guaranteed GPU availability without extended wait times, sovereign AI compute with data and model training hosted within customer jurisdictions, transparent and predictable pricing, and the flexibility to support workloads ranging from AI inference to large-scale model training,” said Manoj Dhanda, Founder and CEO of Utho Cloud.
He added, “By combining 100% data residency, compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, and cost-efficient AI infrastructure, we aim to remove the barriers that have long limited access to high-performance AI computing and accelerate India’s journey towards becoming a global AI powerhouse.”
The company said customers will retain ownership of their intellectual property while benefiting from 24×7 technical support for production AI workloads.
The announcement comes as businesses worldwide continue to face shortages of AI chips, rising infrastructure costs and longer procurement timelines. Utho Cloud said its platform is designed to reduce dependence on overseas infrastructure by offering locally hosted AI compute with predictable pricing.
The Noida-based company currently serves more than 51,000 users across B2B, B2E, and B2G segments, including FIITJEE, Jindal Steel & Power, and APL Apollo.
