Envista Holdings Corporation has appointed Varsha Jagwani as Head of Human Resources – India. In her new role, she will work closely with the India leadership team to drive the company’s people strategy, strengthen organizational capability, build leadership pipelines, and foster a high-performance culture to support Envista’s continued growth in India.

Before joining Envista, Varsha served as Human Resource Leader – India at Essity, where she led the HR strategy for the company’s commercial business and manufacturing operations in Goa. She was responsible for workforce planning, leadership development, succession planning, organizational development, employee engagement, performance management, and diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives, while aligning HR priorities with business objectives.

Earlier, Varsha spent more than 7 years at BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company), where she progressed through the roles of Assistant Manager, Deputy Manager and Human Resources Manager. During her tenure, she partnered with business leaders on talent management, HR business partnering, organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, leadership development, performance management and workforce planning, while supporting business transformation initiatives.

Prior to BD, she spent nearly 6 years at Wipro Infotech, managing HR business partnering responsibilities across the BFSI and Enterprise business verticals. She led initiatives focused on performance management, employee engagement, talent retention, leadership support and people development.

Varsha began her HR career at Embee Software Pvt. Ltd., where she gained experience in recruitment, HR operations, employee lifecycle management, engagement, training coordination and HR administration.

With nearly 20 years of experience, Varsha brings deep expertise in HR strategy, talent management, leadership development, workforce planning, organizational development, succession planning, employee engagement, change management, culture transformation, manufacturing HR, commercial HR and strategic people leadership.

Her appointment reflects Envista’s commitment to strengthening its leadership capabilities and building a people-first culture as the company continues to expand its presence and innovation footprint in India.
