Vivo is reportedly preparing to bring back its S-series smartphones to India after nearly 6 years. A leaked promotional poster suggests that the Vivo S2 could soon make its debut, marking the return of the lineup since the launch of the S1 in 2019.

According to a report, the leaked promotional material carries the tagline “Vivo S Series Coming Soon”, indicating that the company is getting ready to reintroduce the series in the Indian market.

The poster also offers a glimpse of the smartphone’s design, showing a horizontal rear camera module that reportedly resembles the recently launched Vivo X300 FE.

Although Vivo has not officially confirmed the device, previous reports suggested that the S2 could launch in India in July. The smartphone is expected to be positioned in the premium segment with a price range of Rs. 45,000 to Rs. 50,000. It is also rumoured to focus on photography while featuring a slim and lightweight design.

The Vivo S2 has also reportedly appeared on the GSMA database with the model number V2576. It was also spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification website, further indicating that its India launch could be approaching.

The upcoming smartphone is expected to compete with devices such as the OnePlus 15R, iQOO 15R and Vivo X200 FE in the same price segment.

For comparison, the Vivo S1, launched in 2019, was priced at Rs. 17,990. It featured a 6.38-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display, a MediaTek Helio P65 processor, up to 6GB RAM, and a triple rear camera setup with 16MP, 8MP and 2MP sensors.
