Everest Industries Limited has appointed Dr. Ujjal Bhattacharjee as its Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), effective July 16, 2026.
The appointment strengthens the company’s executive leadership team as it continues to focus on growth, innovation, and organizational transformation.
As CHRO, Dr. Bhattacharjee will lead Everest Industries’ people strategy, talent transformation, leadership development, organizational effectiveness, culture, and workforce capability initiatives. He will play a key role in building a future-ready organization that supports the company’s long-term business strategy while enhancing leadership capability and employee experience across its nationwide operations.
Dr. Bhattacharjee joins Everest Industries after nearly 7 years with Vesuvius, where he served as Human Resources Director – Foundry India & Southeast Asia. During his tenure, he also held several board-level positions, including Director at Vesuvius IT & Shared Services Pvt. Ltd., Director at Foseco International (Thailand) Ltd., and President Commissioner at PT. Foseco Indonesia, reflecting his leadership across India and Southeast Asia.
Earlier, he spent 9 years with GKN plc, where he held multiple leadership roles, including Human Resources Director India, Human Resources Director India & South Africa, and Human Resources Director, Vice President Operations & Managing Director. Before joining GKN, he served as Vice President – Human Resources India at Fresenius Kabi, leading strategic HR initiatives that supported the company’s growth in India.
With more than 20 years of leadership experience, Dr. Bhattacharjee has built expertise in Strategic Human Resources, Organizational Transformation, Leadership Development, Talent Management, Culture Building, Business HR Partnership, Shared Services, Industrial Relations, Organizational Effectiveness, Change Management, Workforce Planning, Succession Planning, Executive Leadership, HR Operations, and Business Transformation.
His appointment reflects Everest Industries’ continued focus on strengthening its people capabilities to support sustainable growth and operational excellence.
