Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories has strengthened its technology leadership with the appointment of Arunraja Karthick as Global Head of IT Infrastructure & Operations. In his new role, he will lead the company’s global IT infrastructure and operations, focusing on building secure, resilient and scalable technology platforms to support business growth, innovation and operational excellence across its global pharmaceutical business.
Arunraja brings more than 16 years of experience in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud transformation and enterprise operations. Over the years, he has built expertise in enterprise infrastructure, DevSecOps, cloud modernisation, IT operations, information security and digital transformation. He has led large-scale technology initiatives that modernised enterprise IT environments, improved business agility and strengthened operational resilience. His work in cloud transformation has also been recognised through a keynote presentation at an AWS Summit.
Before joining Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, Arunraja held leadership positions at DTDC Express Limited, DXC Technology and VirtusaPolaris, where he worked on strategic engagements for the Royal Bank of Scotland. During his career, he played a key role in implementing cloud-first strategies, enhancing cybersecurity frameworks and delivering critical infrastructure programmes. He is recognised for transforming complex IT environments into secure, scalable and business-focused technology ecosystems.
Known for his practical leadership approach, Arunraja combines technical expertise with strong business understanding. He has consistently built high-performing teams, encouraged collaboration and delivered technology solutions that improve governance, reliability and security while supporting long-term business goals.
As Global Head of IT Infrastructure & Operations, Arunraja will lead Dr. Reddy’s enterprise IT strategy, strengthen infrastructure resilience, advance cloud and cybersecurity initiatives and drive operational excellence across the company’s technology landscape. His appointment is expected to support the organisation’s digital transformation efforts while building future-ready IT capabilities for its global operations.
