State Bank of India (SBI), the country’s largest lender, has appointed former Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) finance chief Sunil Ramgopal Agrawal as its Chief Financial Officer-designate, effective from August.
During his tenure at LIC, Agrawal led the insurer’s finance function and played a key role in financial planning, capital management, financial reporting, investor relations, and regulatory engagement, SBI said.
The bank did not disclose any details regarding the current CFO, Kameshwar Rao Kodavanti, who has been serving in the role since July 1, 2023.
