Anand P. joins upGrad to lead Learning Centres and AI Partnerships

Anand P. has been appointed Chief Executive Officer – Learning Centres & AI Partnerships at upGrad. He brings extensive experience in edtech, digital products, business strategy, and business transformation.

In his new role, Anand will lead upGrad’s Learning Centres business while driving the company’s AI partnerships strategy.

Before joining upGrad, he served as Managing Director (India & South Asia) at Prometric. Prior to that, he was Deputy Chief Executive Officer & Chief Product Officer at BeMasterly.

Over the course of his career, Anand has held several leadership positions across technology, education, and digital businesses. These include Vice President – Product (Growth) at Funding Societies | Modalku Group, Head of Product Management at Bennett Coleman & Co. Ltd. (The Times of India), VP & Business Head at People Interactive (Shaadi.com), Pricing – Usage & Revenue at the Tata Group, and Manager – Centres & Franchise Development at IMS Learning Resources Pvt. Ltd.

With his leadership experience across product management, digital innovation, business growth, and education technology, Anand is set to play a key role in expanding upGrad’s learning centre business and strengthening its AI-focused partnerships.
