Nikhil Mehrotra has joined Zscaler as Senior Director, Marketing, bringing over 18 years of experience in enterprise marketing, integrated campaigns, customer engagement, and go-to-market strategy.

Announcing his new role, Mehrotra said, “I’m thrilled to share that I’ve joined Zscaler as Senior Director, Marketing. I’m grateful for everything I’ve learned over the few years and excited to bring those experiences into a company that’s redefining secure digital transformation.”

Before joining Zscaler, Mehrotra spent nearly 9 years at Nutanix, where he held several leadership roles. Most recently, he served as Director, Field Marketing, leading marketing operations in India as part of the company’s India leadership team.

Earlier, he was Head of Enterprise Marketing, APJ, where he led strategic marketing initiatives across the Asia Pacific region. In this role, he partnered with regional leadership teams to develop campaigns focused on pipeline creation and acceleration across multiple countries. He also worked closely with sales teams on account-based marketing strategies for global strategic accounts.

Prior to that, Mehrotra served as Global Accounts Marketing Manager, driving account-based marketing initiatives for some of Nutanix’s largest customers across APAC, EMEA, and the Americas. He also supported the company’s Global System Integrator (GSI) business by leading joint marketing programmes with major global system integrators.

Throughout his career, Mehrotra has developed expertise in high-impact marketing campaigns, digital marketing, customer relationship marketing (CRM), market research, integrated communications, account-based marketing, enterprise and SMB marketing, channel marketing, and cross-functional collaboration. He has also led campaigns across PR, digital, and on-ground channels while aligning marketing strategies with business and sales objectives.
