Bharat Serums and Vaccines Limited (BSV) has promoted Bhupendra Singh to President – MENA and ASEAN Cluster, recognizing his leadership in expanding the company’s international business across key emerging markets.

In his new role, Bhupendra will lead BSV’s strategic growth across the Middle East, North Africa (MENA), and ASEAN regions. He will be responsible for driving commercial expansion, market development, and organizational growth across these markets.

Bhupendra has been with Bharat Serums and Vaccines Limited for more than 4 years. He joined the company as Vice President – Africa & Middle East Cluster, where he managed a US$30 million business with a team of around 120 professionals across multiple international markets. He was later promoted to Senior Vice President – North Africa, Middle East and ASEAN Cluster before being elevated to his current position as President – MENA and ASEAN Cluster.

Before joining BSV, Bhupendra served as Assistant Vice President at Cadila Pharmaceuticals Limited, where he led international operations across Africa, managing a team of around 150 employees, including country managers and subsidiary operations, while strengthening the company’s presence across several African markets.

Earlier, he was Business Head – Africa at Neopharma, leading commercial expansion and business development across the continent. He also served as Regional Head – Francophone West and Central Africa at Sun Pharma, driving commercial growth across French-speaking African markets.

Bhupendra previously held 2 Managing Director roles within the Ranbaxy Group. He served as Managing Director of Ranbaxy Nigeria Limited, leading a cross-functional team of around 230 employees across sales, marketing, manufacturing, and finance. He later became Managing Director of Ranbaxy Unichem Thailand, where he oversaw business operations and commercial performance.

During his more than 12 years with Ranbaxy, he also held leadership roles including General Manager – French West Africa & North Africa, Area Manager – Francophone West Africa, and Area Manager – Central Africa, building strong expertise in international business development, market expansion, distributor management, and P&L leadership.

He began his international pharmaceutical career as Export Manager at Core Healthcare Ltd. and later served as Manager – International Division at Torrent Pharmaceuticals Limited, laying the foundation for a global career spanning more than 30 years.

Bhupendra’s promotion reflects his extensive experience in international business, commercial strategy, market expansion, P&L management, and cross-cultural leadership across Africa, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia.
