Taz Hussain joins Inspired Pet Nutrition to lead global commercial growth strategy

Inspired Pet Nutrition (IPN) has appointed Taz Hussain as its Chief Commercial Officer, bringing more than 20 years of experience across the global FMCG industry. In his new role, he will lead the company’s commercial strategy, sales, customer partnerships, revenue growth, and market expansion as IPN strengthens its presence in the global pet nutrition market.

Before joining IPN, Taz served as Commercial Director at McCain Foods, where he led the commercial organization across the Retail, Discounters, and Convenience channels in the UK. He was responsible for driving commercial performance, strengthening customer relationships, and leading sales execution.

Earlier, Taz spent 8 years at Kraft Heinz, holding several senior international leadership roles across Canada, the Middle East, and the company’s global headquarters.

Most recently, he served as Head of Global Strategy Delivery, partnering with global organizations including Bain & Company and Microsoft to shape the company’s long-term strategy. He led enterprise-wide transformation initiatives, developed strategic execution roadmaps, and introduced margin improvement programs that identified more than US$300 million in savings to support future growth.

Previously, as Head of Transformation – North America, he led business transformation programs focused on AI integration, digital innovation, forecasting modernization, agile transformation, and strategic partnerships with Microsoft to improve operational performance.

He also served as Head of Customer Development, leading customer strategy, category development, sales operations, joint business planning, and commercial execution across North America. His earlier roles at Kraft Heinz included Customer Business Lead, Sales Strategy Lead, and Commercial Director – Gulf & Head of Trade Marketing MENAT, where he managed commercial operations across the Gulf, Turkey, North Africa, and the wider Middle East while building regional teams and strengthening retailer partnerships.

Before Kraft Heinz, Taz spent more than 3 years at RB (Reckitt), leading sales operations, trade marketing, category management, and go-to-market strategy across multiple Middle Eastern markets.

He also spent 5 years at Procter & Gamble in roles including Market Strategy & Planning Manager and National Account Manager, leading category growth, product launches, strategic customer partnerships, and commercial innovation across the UK and Ireland. Earlier, he worked as National Account Manager at Burtons Foods and began his FMCG career as Area Manager – Nestlé at Reach, building expertise in sales leadership and customer management.

Taz brings extensive experience in commercial strategy, business transformation, AI-enabled growth, customer development, category management, international business, and organizational leadership, positioning him to support IPN’s next phase of growth.
