Expanding its smartphone portfolio in India, Itel has officially announced the launch of the Zeno 100 Pro while also teasing the arrival of the Zeno 100 Lite. Ahead of the launch, the company has revealed several key features of both smartphones, with a strong focus on durability and everyday usability.
The Itel Zeno 100 Pro will launch in India on July 16, as confirmed through an e-commerce platform microsite. The smartphone is described as “built tough” and is designed to withstand daily wear and tear. It comes with MIL-STD 810H military-grade durability certification, along with heat resistance and drop resistance for added protection.
The company has also teased a “Point and Tap Control Connectivity” feature, indicating that the smartphone could include an IR blaster. If available, users will be able to control compatible devices such as TVs, air conditioners and other home appliances directly from the phone. The teaser also reveals a dual rear camera setup, although camera specifications have not yet been disclosed.
Meanwhile, the Itel Zeno 100 Lite has also been teased with several confirmed specifications. It will feature a 6.6-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate, DTS-backed speakers, MIL-STD military-grade durability certification, and a 5,000mAh battery. As its name suggests, the handset is expected to be positioned below the Zeno 100 Pro in the company’s lineup.
Unlike the Pro variant, the company has not announced an official launch date for the Itel Zeno 100 Lite. The teaser only states that the smartphone is “coming soon”, although it may debut alongside the Zeno 100 Pro.
More information, including pricing, processor details, camera specifications and software features, is expected to be revealed closer to the official launch.
