Tech Mahindra’s acquisition of Allyis India and Green Investments marked a strategic move to strengthen its digital transformation capabilities and expand its technology services portfolio. The acquisition gave Tech Mahindra full ownership of Allyis Group through a 100 per cent stake purchase.
The deal came as global enterprises accelerated investments in cloud computing, automation, analytics and digital experience platforms. By bringing Allyis’ expertise into its ecosystem, Tech Mahindra aimed to enhance its ability to deliver specialised solutions for businesses undergoing digital upgrades.
Allyis brought capabilities across technology consulting, managed services, learning solutions, engineering support and business intelligence. The acquisition reflected a wider industry trend where IT companies are building niche technology expertise through targeted acquisitions to meet evolving customer demands.
The Indian IT services sector has increasingly shifted from traditional outsourcing models towards higher-value digital transformation partnerships. Emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, cloud infrastructure and automation are driving companies to expand their specialised offerings and strengthen their global competitiveness.
Tech Mahindra’s move highlights how strategic acquisitions are becoming a key growth strategy for IT firms looking to build deeper capabilities and support enterprises navigating rapid technological change.
