AGCO has appointed Amit Talwar as Global Vice President of AGCO Business Services (ABS) and India Country Manager, reinforcing its leadership as the company continues to strengthen its global capability center (GCC) operations and business services strategy.
With more than 30 years of leadership experience managing global teams, Amit brings extensive expertise in AI, innovation, talent development, capability building, and global operations. In his new role, he will lead AGCO Business Services globally while overseeing the company’s operations and growth in India.
Amit has been widely recognized for his contributions to India’s GCC ecosystem. He was recently named among India’s Top GCC Leaders by AIM, 3AI, and the Leadership Federation, and was also honored with the “GCC Leader of the Year” award for his leadership in AI adoption, talent development, and strategic policy engagement.
Under his leadership, AGCO India achieved several significant milestones, including earning the Great Place to Work certification, receiving HR Excellence recognition from The Economic Times, and being recognized among India’s Impactful GCCs in 2025 and 2026.
Beyond his corporate responsibilities, Amit is an active industry leader with deep involvement in advancing India’s GCC ecosystem. He serves on the CII GCC Task Force in India and the CII Western Region GCC Forum, while also collaborating with government bodies, including the Government of Kerala, on capability development and innovation initiatives.
Before joining AGCO, Amit spent 15 years leading the IT Global Capability Center at John Deere, where he played a key role in building and scaling global technology operations. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Management, and is also a Certified Coach.
His appointment reflects AGCO’s continued focus on strengthening its global business services organization while accelerating innovation, AI adoption, and talent development across its worldwide operations.
