Bringing more than 20 years of experience in banking technology, digital transformation, enterprise software sales, and business growth, Riddhi will lead the company’s global growth strategy and support its continued expansion across international markets.
In his new role, he will focus on strengthening customer and partner engagement while driving the growth of Veefin’s digital lending and supply chain finance technology solutions worldwide. His appointment comes as the company continues to scale its global presence and expand its technology offerings.
Prior to joining Veefin, Dutta spent nearly 7 years at Backbase, most recently serving as Vice President – Asia. He led business growth across ASEAN and South Asia, building and scaling a high-performing regional go-to-market organization. Under his leadership, the business achieved 10x growth in annual recurring revenue, expanded its customer base significantly, and received multiple regional performance recognitions. He also played a key role in supporting digital banking transformation initiatives for financial institutions across the region.
Before Backbase, Riddhi Dutta served as Associate Director, Sales – Finacle at Infosys, where he managed business development, sales, and account management across South Asia and Southeast Asia. During his tenure, he helped expand Finacle’s presence in strategic markets and contributed to major cloud-hosted core banking transformation projects.
Earlier, he worked as Senior Sales Manager – Strategic Accounts, Asia Pacific at Fintellix Solutions, focusing on analytics and risk management solutions for leading financial institutions across the region.
His career also includes leadership roles at ITC Infotech, Kofax, and HCL Technologies, where he drove sales and business growth across banking technology, treasury, capital markets, regulatory reporting, payments, and digital transformation solutions in multiple international markets.
Dutta began his career as a Software Engineer at Infosys in the banking and capital markets domain. He later worked with IBM as Consultant – Strategy & Change, advising organizations on business transformation and value creation initiatives. He also completed a leadership internship with GE Corporate.
Over the course of his career, Dutta has developed extensive expertise in banking technology, enterprise software sales, digital transformation, customer engagement, strategic account management, revenue growth, and market expansion.
