In a major move to advance enterprise artificial intelligence, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has entered into a strategic partnership with Mistral, becoming the first Global Systems Integrator (GSI) partner for Mistral Forge. The collaboration will enable enterprises and governments to design, fine-tune, and deploy domain-specific AI systems using proprietary enterprise knowledge and industry data.
Through this partnership, TCS will leverage Mistral Forge, Mistral’s advanced platform for building frontier-grade AI models, to develop customized AI solutions that improve decision-making and business outcomes. The collaboration combines Mistral’s AI capabilities with TCS’ deep industry expertise, engineering strength, and understanding of enterprise needs to help organizations scale AI responsibly and efficiently.
The partnership will support customers across North America, the United Kingdom, Europe, and Asia-Pacific, delivering AI solutions tailored to industry requirements, operational needs, and regulatory frameworks. Initial focus areas include banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI), manufacturing, healthcare, and the public sector, where trusted AI adoption is becoming increasingly important.
As part of the agreement, They will establish a dedicated Centre of Excellence for Mistral. The facility will drive joint innovation, develop industry-specific solutions, support project delivery, and help clients gain value from early access to Mistral’s beta models. It will also serve as a hub for advanced talent development, training, and AI governance capabilities.
Arthur Mensch, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder at Mistral, said, “TCS’ global scale and contextual industry knowledge make them an ideal partner for Mistral. Together, we are enabling enterprises worldwide to move from experimentation to AI deployment with systems that are open, production-ready and aligned with their strategic and operational requirements.”
K Krithivasan, Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director at TCS, said, “The partnership with Mistral reinforces TCS’ commitment to scaling enterprise AI with trust, control, and measurable business outcomes at the core. This partnership expands TCS’ AI ecosystem, uniquely positioning TCS to create a differentiated solution proposition for our clients. Together with Mistral, we will solve for specific industry challenges, regulatory requirements, and sovereign needs for our enterprise customers.”
The partnership aligns with TCS’ broader Infrastructure to Intelligence AI strategy and its ambition to become the world’s largest AI-led technology services company.
