With more than 30 years of experience across pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, chemicals, and global business leadership, Dr. Chaturvedi will lead the company’s strategic growth, global expansion, operational excellence, and innovation initiatives. Matrix Pharmacorp currently serves pharmaceutical partners across more than 80 countries.
Before joining Matrix Pharmacorp, Dr. Chaturvedi served as Chief Executive Officer at Apitoria Pharma Private Limited. In this role, he managed a large-scale global API business with over 10,000 employees and annual sales exceeding INR 7,500 crore. His leadership focused on business transformation, operational growth, and international market expansion.
Prior to that, he worked as Executive Director & Chief Executive Officer at IOL Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals Limited, where he led the publicly listed pharmaceutical company’s business growth and strategic market positioning.
Earlier in his career, he held senior leadership positions at Praj Industries, Aurobindo Pharma, and Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories. Across these organisations, he led global sales, marketing, business development, API operations, industrial biotech growth, and international commercial strategy initiatives.
His professional journey also includes leadership and research roles at Dow Advanced Materials, Rohm and Haas, Brookhaven National Laboratory, Stony Brook University, and the Indian Institute of Science.
With extensive expertise across pharmaceuticals, APIs, biotechnology, R&D, and global commercialisation, Dr. Chaturvedi’s appointment is expected to strengthen Matrix Pharmacorp’s long-term growth strategy and global competitiveness.
