This promotion marks a significant leadership development for the company’s growing digital commerce and fintech business within the JSW Group.
Previously serving as Chief Operating Officer and Business Head – MSME at JSW One Platforms, Mayank played a key role in expanding operations, strengthening strategic business frameworks, and driving growth across the company’s integrated digital marketplace and financial services platforms. His elevation highlights the organization’s confidence in his financial expertise, strategic vision, and deep understanding of India’s industrial commerce and MSME ecosystem.
Before joining JSW One Platforms, Mayank was Managing Director at o3 Finance Private Limited. There, he worked on asset management, corporate finance advisory, debt restructuring, and special situations investing, helping mid-market companies manage financial transformation and complex business challenges.
Earlier, during his nearly 10-year stint at KKR & Co. Inc., he served as Director and became one of the early builders of KKR’s India credit business. He led more than $2 billion in credit and investment transactions across sectors including healthcare, industrials, retail, education, and materials. His responsibilities covered underwriting, structuring, execution, portfolio management, digitization initiatives, and mid-market credit strategy development.
Prior to KKR, Mayank spent 6 years at Citi in senior roles across corporate banking, portfolio management, structuring, and relationship management. He also worked with Hindustan Lever Ltd. (Unilever), focusing on product development, innovation, and process optimization at the start of his career.
Mayank holds an MBA in Analytical Finance and Strategic Marketing from the Indian School of Business (ISB) and a BTech in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi.
