As anticipation builds around Xiaomi’s next smartphone lineup, new leaks have provided a closer look at the design and features of the upcoming Xiaomi 17T and Xiaomi 17T Pro models.
According to a report by a publication, leaked images suggest that both devices follow a familiar design language. The Xiaomi 17T is shown in blue, black, and pink shades, while the Pro variant appears in slightly more vibrant tones of the same colours. Visually, both models look similar, with only minor differences.
The key variations are expected in size and a slightly modified camera module. Both phones feature a centred hole-punch display, flat edges, and a square rear camera setup with four sensors. Xiaomi branding is placed on the lower back panel.
In terms of specifications, the Xiaomi 17T is likely to come with a 6.59-inch display offering a resolution of 2,756 × 1,268 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. The Pro model could feature a larger 6.83-inch display with 2,772 × 1,280 resolution and a higher 144Hz refresh rate.
The standard model is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra chipset, while the Xiaomi 17T Pro may run on the more advanced Dimensity 9500 processor. Both devices are tipped to include 12GB RAM, along with storage options of 256GB and 512GB.
For cameras, both smartphones are rumoured to feature a triple rear setup, including a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 50-megapixel telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom, and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera. On the front, a 32-megapixel selfie camera is expected.
Battery capacity may differ between the two models. The Xiaomi 17T is likely to pack a 6,500mAh battery with 67W fast charging. The Pro version could include a 7,000mAh battery with 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging support.
Pricing is expected to start at EUR 749 (around Rs. 67,000) for the Xiaomi 17T, while the Xiaomi 17T Pro could be priced at EUR 999 (around Rs. 90,000).
