Kannan brings over 30 years of experience in technology and telecommunications, with a strong track record of building and modernizing telecom platforms and scaling networks serving hundreds of millions of customers globally.

Before joining Consumer Cellular, Kannan served as CTO at Circles, where he helped build an AI-native full-stack SaaS platform, scaled it to support millions of customers, and migrated tens of millions of users from legacy telecom stacks. He also held the role of CTO at Dish Network, leading the modernization of its technology infrastructure.
