In a fresh addition to its smartphone lineup, OPPO has confirmed that the F33 Series will launch in India on April 15. The series is expected to include a standard model and a Pro variant, with key details already revealed ahead of the launch.

The company announced that the F33 Series will feature a 50MP primary rear camera powered by the OV50D40 sensor. The Pro model will also include a 50MP front-facing camera, focusing on enhanced selfie performance.

The OPPO F33 Pro introduces a redesigned camera setup called the Starry Sea Lens Module. It features a large rounded-rectangular camera island with 2 vertically aligned circular lenses and a ring-style flash. The design combines glossy and matte finishes and will be available in 3 colour options: Misty Forest with pine tree patterns, Starry Blue and Passion Red with a metallic finish.

On the display front, the F33 Pro will come with a 6.57-inch flat screen and a weight of 194g.

For selfies and video calls, the Pro variant will include a 50MP ultra-wide front camera with a 100-degree field of view. It will support an auto-switch feature that shifts to a wider frame when more than 2 people are detected. OPPO also said it will include face distortion correction to ensure natural-looking faces at the edges.

The rear camera setup in the series will include a 50MP primary sensor along with a 2MP depth sensor.

The F33 Series will introduce several AI-powered features. These include AI Portrait Glow, which adjusts lighting based on surroundings to improve portrait shots, and Colourful Front Fill Light, which uses soft lighting tones instead of a standard flash for better selfies in low-light conditions.

Additional features include Popout, which creates layered images with depth effects, and Dual-View Video, allowing recording from both front and rear cameras at the same time.
