Expanding its latest smartphone lineup, Realme has officially started the sale of the Realme 16 5G in India, just days after its launch on April 2.
The Realme 16 5G is now available via Flipkart and the company’s online store in Air Black and Air White colour options. The smartphone comes in three variants: 8GB + 128GB priced at Rs. 31,999, 8GB + 256GB at Rs. 33,999, and 12GB + 256GB at Rs. 36,999.
As part of introductory offers, buyers can get an instant discount of up to Rs. 3,000 on EMI transactions using select credit cards. Alternatively, a Rs. 2,000 discount is available through bank and UPI offers. Customers can also opt for up to 12 months EMI plans and avail a Rs. 1,000 exchange bonus.
The device runs on Android 16-based Realme UI 7.0 and comes with 3 years of OS updates and 4 years of security updates. It features a 6.57-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut, 1.07 billion colours, 397 ppi density, and up to 4,200 nits peak brightness. It also includes DT Star D+ glass protection and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 Turbo chipset, the phone offers up to 12GB LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB UFS 2.2 storage, along with a Mali G57 MC2 GPU. It also includes a vapour chamber cooling system with a 6,050 sq mm heat dissipation area and carries an IP69 rating for dust and water resistance.
For photography, the handset features a dual rear camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP monochrome sensor. On the front, it offers a 50MP selfie camera and supports video recording up to 1080p at 60fps. A unique selfie mirror is placed inside the rear camera module.
The Realme 16 5G packs a 7,000mAh battery with 60W fast charging support. It measures 158.30×75.13×8.10mm and weighs 183g.
