In a strategic move to strengthen its future mobility ambitions, JSW Motors has signed a long-term partnership with Dassault Systèmes to enhance its design, engineering and manufacturing capabilities for new-energy vehicles (NEVs).
As part of the collaboration, JSW Motors will deploy Dassault Systèmes’ DELMIA 3DEXPERIENCE platform as a digital backbone across the entire vehicle lifecycle. This will cover product design, engineering, validation and manufacturing processes.
“At JSW Motors, we are building a technology-led future mobility ecosystem which is engineered in India and world-class. We are delighted to partner with Dassault Systèmes from France to embed its state-of-the-art digital platform across the vehicle lifecycle, from design to manufacturing,” said Deepak NG, Managing Director, India, Dassault Systèmes.
The platform is expected to help JSW Motors manage the increasing complexity of software-defined vehicles while enabling seamless integration across the value chain. “Our 3DEXPERIENCE platform will empower JSW Motors to manage the growing complexity of software-defined vehicles, while enabling end-to-end integration across their entire value chain, from design and engineering to manufacturing and lifecycle management,” he added.
Under the partnership, JSW Motors will build an integrated Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) ecosystem using the 3DEXPERIENCE platform. It will also implement a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) to ensure digital continuity and end-to-end traceability.
The initiative aims to strengthen localisation of product development, improve supply chain resilience and build globally competitive, future-ready vehicles tailored for the Indian market.
