Tata Communications launches AI-driven platform for seamless data centre connectivity

Strengthening its enterprise network capabilities, Tata Communications has introduced IZO DC Dynamic Connectivity, a software-defined platform designed to manage data centre connections across 5 continents.

The platform uses deterministic multi-path routing and AI-driven automation to ensure uninterrupted connectivity. It can automatically re-route network traffic within seconds during disruptions such as cable outages, route failures, or sudden demand spikes, without requiring manual intervention. The company claims the system delivers more than 99.99% service availability for mission-critical applications.

Enterprises can access a unified digital interface and APIs to monitor network performance, receive proactive alerts, and scale bandwidth as needed. The platform also uses AI-based predictive insights to help businesses forecast capacity requirements in advance. Users can instantly scale bandwidth or add new routes through a self-service feature.

According to Tata Communications, companies using its consumption-based pricing model can reduce idle backup capacity and lower operational costs by up to 30%.

Genius Wong, Executive Vice President, Core and Next-Gen Connectivity Services and Chief Technology Officer at Tata Communications, said: “…With IZO DC Dynamic Connectivity, we are shifting resilience from a reactive process to an autonomous capability. By combining global reach, deterministic routing and intelligent automation, we are enabling enterprises to build a digital foundation that scales with confidence and operates without disruption.”

On Tuesday, Tata Communications’ stock closed at ₹1,407.30 on the NSE, up 1.76% from its previous close of ₹1,383.00. During the day, the stock touched a high of ₹1,434.00 and a low of ₹1,372.00, with a VWAP of ₹1,404.42.

The company, part of the Tata Group, operates in more than 190 countries and serves 300 Fortune 500 companies.
