Westlake Robotics unveils Titan 01 humanoid robot with advanced AI capabilities

Amid growing momentum in intelligent robotics, Westlake Robotics has introduced its new AI-powered humanoid robot, Titan 01, marking progress in the development of embodied AI systems.

The robot is powered by the company’s in-house AI system, designed to enable flexible and adaptive human-like movements. Titan 01 can adjust to different operators and respond dynamically to changes in motion, showing advancements in real-time learning and control.

Founder Wang Donglin said the system is built to handle diverse scenarios, allowing smoother interaction between humans and machines. The robot is part of the company’s broader effort to create end-to-end embodied AI solutions that combine software intelligence with hardware capabilities.

Westlake Robotics has been working on integrating large AI models into robotic systems. This approach aims to improve task execution, motion understanding, and interaction with surrounding environments.

The launch comes as China’s humanoid robotics sector gains pace, with companies focusing on machines that can perform real-world tasks across industries such as manufacturing, logistics, and services. The industry is moving beyond fixed programming toward robots that can learn, adapt, and operate independently in changing environments.

The introduction of Titan 01 highlights the growing connection between AI and robotics. It also reflects efforts to develop general-purpose humanoid systems that can support both industrial use cases and everyday activities.
